Privacy Policy

By selecting “I Agree,” you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these privacy terms.

"Medijunction Smart Healthcare Private Limited operates a health information and patient management platform (referred to as the "Medijunction App" and "Medijunction Web Portal") designed for use by healthcare professionals (collectively, the "Services").

The terms "You" and "Your" refer to the user, patient, or individual uploading data on the platform (collectively referred to as the "App"). These Terms outline how you may use the Services and explain our privacy policy, which details how we collect, store, and process your data.

If your data is collected by third parties—such as doctors, healthcare professionals, or field workers—you consent to their collection and uploading of your data onto the platform.

1. Use of Medijunction App, Medijunction Web Portal.

The Medijunction App and Medijunction Web Portal allow registered healthcare professionals to collect and organize medical information and health records of their patients. These platforms are designed to optimize healthcare delivery for patients.

The services provided to doctors include:

  • Adding and managing patient information.
  • Coordinating appointments.
  • Assisting in diagnosis and managing treatment options.
  • Facilitating communication through video calls between registered doctors on the platform.

2. Information That We Collect and Receive

To provide the Services, Medijunction collects demographic details such as your name, address, phone number, email, age, and gender. Additionally, we collect sensitive personal information (SPI) as defined under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Information) Rules, 2011. This includes details about your physical, physiological, and mental health, as well as your medical records and history.

Some information may also be collected by other users, such as doctors and healthcare professionals registered on our platform, or uploaded by patients themselves, which may also qualify as SPI. Specifically, healthcare professionals may add medical information related to their patients, including physical conditions, lab test results, prescribed medicines, and other treatment-related data. Users may also choose to upload contact details to easily find and connect with other users (colleagues, healthcare providers, or patients) on the App.

Medijunction places the highest importance on protecting your privacy and follows strict policies to safeguard personal information. The manner in which we collect, use, and manage personal data and SPI is outlined in our privacy policy.

3. Retention

The information mentioned above will be collected and retained by Medijunction Smart Healthcare Private Limited.

We will not retain any sensitive personal data or information (SPI) longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, lawfully used, or as required by any applicable law in force.

4. Purpose of Collection and Usage of Information

Medijunction collects only the information necessary to provide you with the Services. The information will be stored for a period reasonably required to ensure continuous service delivery or until the consent to use the information is revoked by the provider. Data uploaded by users may also be used for analytical and statistical purposes, such as tracking area-wise disease outbreaks.

You will always have the option to refrain from providing your personal information or to withdraw consent for previously provided information. However, in such cases, Medijunction may no longer be able to provide you access to the platform or its Services.

5. Security Practices and Procedures

Medijunction adheres to security practices and procedures that align with international standards, including IS/ISO/IEC 27001, which specifies requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). We are committed to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your information.

6. Transfer of Information to Third Parties

Medijunction may transfer information to third parties when necessary to meet the healthcare needs of the patient. Such transfers will only occur if the third party adheres to the same level of data protection as Medijunction and if the patient authorizes Medijunction to share their information with those third parties.

7. Transfer and Disclosure of Information to the Government

In addition to transferring information to third parties, the data collected or uploaded by you on the App may also be disclosed to the Government to fulfill Medijunction's legal obligations or as required by law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

You agree that your use of Medijunction and any associated Services is entirely at your own risk. The App serves solely as a patient management platform for registered users and is provided on an "as is" basis.

Medijunction does not assume any liability for the conduct of its users at any time. Sensitive and personal information of any other user or individual available on Medijunction must be collected and handled according to the guidelines set forth in the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, by the respective information collector.

Communications within the platform between users, including messaging services and the transfer of media such as photos and videos, are made entirely at your own risk.

9. Changes in Policy

Medijunction may change the terms of this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users by updating this page on our website: https://medijunction.co.in/privacypolicy.

10. Grievance Redressal Mechanism

If a user has any grievance related to the privacy of information provided to Medijunction, they may contact our Grievance Officer (“Privacy Officer”) at contact@medijunction.co.in.
